Beyond the allowance
$50 per 1,000 credits, or bought ahead for less:

Questions people ask
What counts as a device?
Anything with its own identity that sends readings: a wireless node, a meter, a controller, or each sensor behind a gateway that you see as a separate device. A device that stops reporting stops counting from the next month.
What happens when the fleet grows?
Nothing breaks. Devices past your plan's included number go on the next invoice at your plan's rate. Above a few hundred extra devices the next plan up usually costs less, and the calculator shows where that crossover is.
Do you charge per person?
No. Essentials has 10 users, Professional 50, and Operations is unlimited. We would rather everyone who can act on what the sensors say can see it.
Can AI costs surprise us?
Only if you let them. An owner sets a monthly cap on extra credits, including zero, and the billing page shows this month's use as it happens. Detectors, forecasts and alerts never use credits.
How much data can a device send?
Up to 100,000 readings a day per device are included: about one reading a second on one channel, or one a minute on each of 70. High-rate streams such as vibration waveforms are quoted separately.
Can we run it ourselves?
Yes. The self-hosted licence runs on your own hardware. With your own AI compute everything stays on your premises; without it, AI requests go to our shared service and use credits.
Can we use our own AI provider?
Yes. Connect your own provider or model server in the platform's settings, and AI actions are counted but not charged.
Is there a pilot?
Yes. Most customers start with the Quickstart on one site: devices claimed and alerting within a week, and the first report written with you.
